Title: how to configure joystick if Ахіс buttons are not working correctly

all the other buttons are working normally, is it possible to play in this situation at all. they are not purely dead but broken. arrow keys joystick work as an option

What do you mean by "Axis buttons"? Are those sticks?

Does your device show up as multiple devices, or just one?  If multiple, maybe  you have to use something like Joystick Gremlin to combine it into one virtual stick?
