Hey, first post.

I'm probably not posting in the right place, but a strange thing happened when I converted my Silent Threat pilot from FSPort to FSOpen (3.6.7). The shield effect just stopped working. I have no idea why that is.

If you create a new pilot does it have the shield effect?

I haven't tried making a new pilot, but it seems there's another problem. I've been playing Renegade Resurgence, and now each time I select a different pilot and then go back to my RR pilot the ship and weapons loadout changes. In this case it also seems that all the effects have stopped working.

Alright, fixed the problem, a la the latest CVS build and 3.6.8 beta vps. Thanks for the help. Now I gotta get back to playing some Freespace
