Wow.

I keep having to fight my natural click-everything habit when it comes to that Last Jedi thread. :nervous:

I got a new car for myself, a Mazda CX5 with the fully loaded trim and packages. I love the style and handling on this. I've been driving a 17 year old minivan for many years, and it's a huge improvement over that.

If you live in my neighborhood, don't order Dominos tonight.  The (or one of the) delivery driver's vehicle has so much rod-knock that I could hear it inside my apartment.

Actually, don't order Dominos ever.  Their pizza is hot garbage, even compared to most other franchise pizza places.

Mazda is always a good choice in my mind, but I am always a bit weirded out by the "We take our sportscar and turn it into an SUV" shenanigans of, say, the CX-5 or the Porsche Cayenne.

Then again they sell like hot cakes and are still very capable cars in their own right, it just seems a lot bigger then it should be.

Also speaking of lovely cars check out my new mercedes. It's amazing.

The link doesn't seem to work. I like crossovers for the upright seating and cargo space, which makes road trips more comfortable and convenient. I've gotten used to that in the minivan, even though it was clunky to drive. Some crossovers do look weird to me too compared to the cars they are based on, I think the CX-5 is one of the few good looking ones.

Re: W-H-I-Y-L - boom shake-shake shake the-room.
Ooh yeah the CX-5 does look absolutely lovely, no doubt about it.

My new Mercedes :P

(Mercedes makes Smart cars hence)

I'm surprised by it, I'm 6 foot 5 or 195cm and I fit in it just fine. First automatic car I've ever driven in too, and it's extremely usefull in the old towns I need to go to for psych stuff. As you can see, parking is a cakewalk in this thing, although I haven't tried this with it.

It's slow though! 0.6 litres of engine isn't all that much.

Think I'll stick with my Golf.  It's still a compact, but it has a turbo, and when I fold some seats down I can actually fit **** in it. :p

Re: W-H-I-Y-L - boom shake-shake shake the-room.
Hehe, yeah. It's a car that is extremely useful for commuting and ... basically nothing else xD

It is however quite impressive to actually drive in. You'd expect the car of that size to be just... ****ty, but it's not. It actually pulls decently from 0 to 100 km/h, and the handling is extremely responsive, far more then any other car I've driven. It's one nimble car. Plus, it's rear wheel drive! So you can do this with it:

Really stoked just getting out of The Last Jedi.  Now to read the thread and probably get pissed at dissenting opinions. :D

So it turns out that buying a cheap $50 projector wasn't a bad idea.

Now I finally have a second screen without having the room and cash to have a proper second monitor.

When it's from a number I don't know, I've been answering my phone by saying, "This better be good."

On the rare occasions when it's a human and not a robot, they do in fact seem put off by it. Success!
