I'm curious about the hide-ship-name flag. It seems only to hide the name from the target box but not from the escort list. "TCS Challenger" in this image has hide-ship-name set to true:

Is this expected? One would think that the ship name would always be displayed as "Unknown" throughout the HUD. This behavior is present in 3.7.4 and recent nightlies alike. Looking at this (German) video of the old WC Saga (https://youtu.be/hl5MrInjeBg?t=8m53s) we see the ship name show up as "unbekannt" in the escort list. Note that at this stage of the mission hide-ship-name is just the setting in FRED, and not altered thru the special WC Saga code. Wouldn't one expect the same behavior in standard FSO?
