Just played through the GVTA branch. One small flaw is that the engines of the Rahus in the first mission of the branch cannot be damaged, though it may be the MediaVPs as the Rahu looks different.  I was still able to destroy them all before they could escape though

Well, maybe you had an overzealous trojan detector.  I can assure you I didn't add any trojans to the update.

Consider using Knossos.NET.  It's very powerful and it has a bunch of improvements over the original Knossos.

Note [from me, Wookieejedi]:
I was the lead on the Original Trilogy Mod before joining Fate of the Galaxy (FotG). And having been involved in both teams, I'll add that FotG is many orders of magnitude more extensive, stable, mission-completed, and feature rich then the Original Trilogy mod was. This Original Trilogy Mod was more of a cobbled together asset dump. Thus, this Original Trilogy mod is no longer in active-development and is being uploaded simply as an archive that works with more modern (2023) FSO builds.

Regarding Fate of the Galaxy development, we are progressively moving closer to meeting our final milestones for a public release. Once those goals are met and polished, we will be extremely excited to share the game with everyone!

  • Adds the tutorial campaign
  • Adds the node map UI
  • Rearranges some UI menu locations; Moves Mission Simulator and Cutscene viewer into Barracks from Tech Room
