Can't begin campaign

When I click select on the campaign screen, it just returns to the main menu and nothing happens.  The briefing stages seem to work fine.  Anyone else have this problem?

Playing at 1920x1080
Windows 7 64 bit
Core i5
GTX 550ti
8 gb RAM

It's not the campaign screen you want, that one is for once we have more than one campaign, it's the briefing screen. :)

That is assuming your problem is what I think it is. If not, more details please.
