Just a quick question: Enlight me why do I need the navigation subsystems? I was flying with destroyed Nav several times for long durations, but I couldn't see any negative changes.

supposedly you wouldn't be able to enter/exit subspace(unless inter-system), see jump nodes, or nav bouys...

It's just a subsystem for Fredders to use as a trigger. I.E. you can set it up to when a ship's nav system go, they can't jump to subspace, or whatever you want.
