What would you ask?

Ok, one day you walk in to a room full of the people that mad FS1 and FS2.  They are bored and are willing to answer any questions you have about the games as long as they are interesting questions (about the story).

What would you ask?

I would be interested in:
(1) The Lucy, how come she is the only capitol ship with shields?
(2) Why destroy Capella?
(3) Any more background information about the Ancients?

Any other good questions about there?  I want to make a general list of what is NOT known about the story.

the plot, there was a behind the scenes plot that would have gotten revealed had fs...never mind...

why the commandline code is so uncommented, and why the Big C didn't attack the Sath from behind.

And if they'd be willing to make FS3, given the rights.

I'd probably ask for the Shivan's reasons for not invading Allied Space. The Shivan Manifesto leaves several things to be thought about, but its only theories...

I'd first ask about "the bigger problem", like for example, what is it and how do the shivans fit in that perspective.

Then I would ask for a detailed history of the shivans, including it's origins and it's motives... what makes them tick, etc...

If none of the above would answer it, I would finally ask what the hell happened in Capella?! I am still not convinced that the shivans had intended for that to happen or were not the real cause of what happened.

Ultimatly, I would kick their ass for not making FS... er... nevermind.

that is just it, what much was revealed, was that the shivans where nothing more than a soldier race, forebodes of a much larger thing to come, who's terror and agressiveness would made the threat of shivans look pale in comparison. (like scouts for a colony of egyptian fire-ants)

The fact that several Juggernauts were also destroyed by Capella could be taken as evidence that the Shivans were actually trying to stop what happened there. :)

I don't actually believe that but I can see why others might :)

What if more happened in Capella than Alpha 1 knows about?  Maybe the Shivans were simply trying to stop something, not fuxplodify Capella for no reason...

To some degree I think the Shivans were created by the Ancients I don't know why, IMHO kinda like they were made to be a protectorate for the Ancients who used them for universal domination of all species. Then we could add that the Shivan cyborgs got a deadly virus and made them do the exact opposite of what they were programed to do, thus the termination of the Ancients.

Er... that kind of goes against the whole thing about the ancients thingys in FS1... You know... they found the shivans and fought them, then they retreated, they followed, etc...

hermmm...so you think maybe the shivans knew Capella was gonna naturally go supernova, so they surrounded it and did all that funky green subspace crap to try to stop it, but it didn't work?
