I've offered to throw my hat into the beta-testing ring. I'm competent in running the debug build and showing off the debug spew so that the problem can be solved. I do what I can when my services are needed, playing until I crash or until I notice a definite error in the game's makeup that needs to be rectified. I may not be above and beyond, but I've picked up how to report bugs on the forum rather quickly, so I at least know how to do that much.
I'm also considerably interested in voiceacting. I've not had much experience in this particular field, but I've done some stage acting before, so I know generally what credentials you're looking for. A native Kentuckian, my voice probably shows it, and my tone is a clear deep bass. My voice travels rather easily, so I believe that it's acoustically sound. If I had my say in anything, I'd love to voiceact for the MCv Custodian in the Homesick campaign, but anything will do. I'm particularly partial to mission briefing/debriefing, if it's any consolation.
One more thing, I'm a seasoned writer. I've been penning stories in my spare time since my sophomore year of high school, and as such, I have great skill with writing. I've been known to spend entire nights focusing on building a character's biographical details from the ground up, and my natural loathing towards plotholes and the unexplained aspects of stories causes me to really plan ahead before I set facts in stone. I'm not sure how these skills will apply to campaign restoration (unless there's another total campaign recreation ala ST:R), but I figure that it's better to say it now, rather than later.
(A note on my desire to voiceact the Custodian: I want to try it out because he sounds really down-to-earth, and as I was reading it aloud, I found myself dipping into a sort of down-home attitude. It just felt really natural and I think it would be good to start off with.)
