Need testers for Titan Rebellion
ok guys,
i have finished it to a degree where i would like it to be tested by somebody other than me (god damn i must have played some of the missions like 30 times now  :lol: )
there are still a bunch of typos in my own missions (the last 3) that i just couldn't get myself to fix yet, will do it one day i promise  :pimp:

First one: the Titan uses retail textures and has weird lighting on rotator.

could you post a screenshot? i can see nothing amiss with the lighting in my game
don't know about the textures, i took the model as it was, are those really retail ones?
anyway, i don't have the slightest clue about modelling so somebody else would have to fix that,
however the titan doesn't look too bad in my opinion, whatever the textures are  :shaking:

thanks for the feedback anyway, i was just starting to think everybody would simply ignore me  :wtf:

Ok. I started to testing this campaign. For now, I have a few bugs including:
- victory music in inappropriate moments [mission with test of vulcan weapons and first meeting with the Titan]
- no primary weapons in the mission where we're escorting Metatron [only Trebs and Tornadoes]
- Titan's weapons subsystem is unscannable.
I can't test more. Impossibility of scanning Titan's weapons make me stuck in this mission.
and...
- Titan model is BUGGY as hell. The one which Hades patched [nice patch anyway]. Holes in main hull, turrets not coapted with the main hull of the ship, badly mapped turrets. I remember I saw first version of the Titan somewhere, with hangarbay airstrip and more turrets, and witchout bugs. If someone have original model on HD, please upload it somewhere. I'd like to make my own fixed version  for Titan Rebellion.

the bugs with the primary weapons and the not scanable weapon system  are VERY strange
i have played through the campaign several times without any of this issues..
till now.. just tested it, i too do not have primary weapons in m8 any longer, no matter what kind of weapon i assign, only changing the ships back to terran vessels brings back weapons... no idea what to do here, but i'll try to fix it
why does something like this occur all of a sudden when nothing ever was wrong with it before??

will look into the unscannable subsystem tomorrow, this problem too did never occur through my previous playthroughs  :confused:

i have tested mission 9 now, nothing seems to be amiss with the weapon system scanning
are you sure you did scan it from "inside" the Titan? (i mean from the inner side of the "arm" the system is attached to)
it's not possible to scan from the outside

you are right about the titans model, it is indeed flawed
i did never register that the model is missing textures though (how did i miss that? it's bloody obvious, damn!) , i will add them, but lack the skill to change anything else *shrug*

There is just no option to scan it [option Scannable in FRED is not enabled].

Current setup is a bit weird, all turrets on the arms on the front of the ship, only big beams on bottom part.

There is just no option to scan it [option Scannable in FRED is not enabled].

wtf? scanning is enabled on my copy of the campaign .. strange thing indeed
if you would fix the titan model i would be most grateful for certain, but please do not change the turret positions, i'm quite confident this would break one mission at least

i have updated the download link for the campaign with the latest fixes, everyone who downloaded the old version is strongly encouraged to redownload!

You need to use a Vasudan type translator voice for Mizraim's voice to be consistent with Canon that has all Vasudan communication via translator.

In mission 8 the briefing voice files are messed up.  There are 5 briefing stages and only 4 voice files.  It appears the voice file for stage 2 is missing.  The one labelled 2 is actually for 3, labelled 3 for 4 and labelled 4 for 5.

everything seems to be working fine, aside from the fact that one does need a recent nightly build now, couldn't open the mission with 3.6.12

Oops I'm used to running on the recent nightly so I modified it with the recent nightly version of FRED.

I attached a fixed version FREDed with 3.6.12

Mission 13 has no voice.  It appears the voice files are not associated with the briefings and messages
