Gamefront shutting down April 30th
https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsBattlefront/comments/4esjs0/gamefront_is_shutting_down_help_save_the_mods/

Might wanna dowmload all FSO mods hosted here for later upload before they get lost.

Dunno where best to post this, feel free to move it.

Does this warrant an announcement to notify mod authors?

A quick search suggests that the freespace content on there is mostly mods to other games and the most recent files seem to be 2010

Not many.

At least for me Gamefront was useless because I couldn't download files from this site.

I don't think I've so much as heard of it before.

It used to be called FileFront.

OK, now I'm surprised that thing lasted this long.

Re: Gamefront shutting down April 30th
I seem to remember some All-in-one installers were hosted there, but they had backup locations / methods IIRC.  Wasn't sure if others had used it in the time since then, so just to be safe I said something.  Apparently it's not very popular at all any more (hence shutting down, lol).
