table size management problem
I found a rather curious thing when i tried to use large tables with FRED 2.3.2.
It does seem to have very limited table size improvement over the original FRED 2...
I have a 465kb table and FRED 2.3.2 fails to open it...
Having a bunch of releases, then i tried with the DTP one and it was successfull!
Now, i'm 90% sure that DTP is older than 2.3.2, so i ask how you source code guys are cohordinating yourselves...
BTW, i'm not criticizing you, just a tip:
Have a standard common codebase, having separated releases that does different things without integration is just useless...

table size management problem
DTP's code should be identical in our release, so, sounds liek a bug.

Thanks for the tip.

There were some problems with lower end machines and larger tables, so, there might be some debug left in the exe that limits tables to smaller than when DTP originally released the code.

THe SCP team needs to talk about how to handle this, at some stage in the VERY near future, a serious discussion about system requirements needs to take place. We can support all the latest whiz bang stuff and still support Voodoo 2 cards on machines with 64 megs of RAM.
