Ok....about 2hours ago i was told about this game, and i have finished downloading of the website, that my mate gave me, who said that this is like the best game ever.
So.....Now i got all the required downloads.....i installed them all
mission packs included.......and im at the launcher, and i did exactly what it says find blah blah blah, and then i clickd apply, then i went to Run, and while the game like loaded i got an error, and had to debug, and this error occurs everytime i do so......

does anyone know how to correct whatever stupid mistake i have done, if so please reply.

And what are the specs of your PC?

Did you try to select the "Standard FS2 (all features off)" option?
That way it won't look too good, but you know if the problem is caused by TBP itself, or by one of the features.

Also in the features, there should be a frame with all the parameters in, looking like this
D:\Spiele\The Babylon Project\fs2_open_r.exe -spec -glow -jpgtga -2d_poof -nobeampierce -dualscanlines -targetinfo -snd_preload

That could help the team to find out what your problem is, along with the already mentioned system specs.

oh and the error is just a microsoft one, where its like this program has incountered an error....and need to close,
then i get an option to debug, nothing happens, send and not send

I've never seen it do that. Have you been having problems with any other games/programs? If so maybe you have an operating system related problem. Corrupt DLLs? Bad install of DX?

most likely.....im gonna reformat it now. and get it all rockin n rollin hehe and then hopefully it works after, and if not. i just cry and move on to my next game lol thanks for the help guys
