Those of you who remember this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,60750.0.html) thread will remember that after a long discussion between myself and FUBAR I was planning on implementing a new Do-for-Every-Valid-Argument SEXP which would allow you to make certain SEXPs trigger more than once when used in an argument
Well I'm done now (http://www.freespacefaq.com/Misc-Downloads/Builds/DoForValidArgumentsBuild.7z) (although it's now called Do-For-Valid-Arguments). That previous thread pretty much explains what the SEXP can be used for and I've included a test mission to show the difference it makes compared with what happens without it and with the hack that gives the same result.
Since this is in my branch it has all the other features I've been working on in addition to a whole mess of bug fixes which aren't in trunk yet (Simply check Mantis and see what has been updated in the last 24 hours. A load of them are fixed in my build).

It only works in my builds for now. It will be in 3.6.11 though.

The title is a reference to this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,55838.0.html) thread. I know the other stuff will get used but I'll be surprised if more than a handful of people actually use this new SEXP. :)

no but we will get to play under what it creates and the more tools you fredders will have and this will give us (lowly players) more smooth running and complex missions to play and that is why i care ........

I might use it, depending if the RTS mod ends up relying more heavily on SEXP's to support the Lua-scripted behavior.

I'm curious whether this FRED build shares the "global save compatibility" introduced with the build in the thread "FRED Save Changes" just a bit down this one.
I would change with the newer features included in this one, but I'd hate to mess up the incomplete .fs2's currently being worked on.

Since they are both built from Kara's branch I would say your fine. Just make a backup of the mission and give it a try.
Actually those save compatibility changes were committed awhile back so they should be in any newer builds.

Yeah, the compatibility changes are in trunk. So all builds will have them.
