It only gets better. Our voice actors really nailed it - we were very lucky to assemble a cast of immensely talented people. The casting process ran over several weeks, but in the end, it was worth it.

Ok, I wanted to play this just because, even though the only Wing Commander game I ever was able to play properly most people don't consider truly part of the series (I played Prophecy), but having seen that awesome trailer and the recent gameplay footage, I want this so badly I can almost taste it. It looks ****ing awesome. It's lightyears ahead of that old teaser release that was the prologue.

I'm guessing a scripted HUD element on that. Unless you can now define new gauges and how they work in the hud gauges table. Regardless of how it's implemented, truly awesome. Real life fighter craft have that sort of indicator to tell you which missiles have been fired, or have malfunctioned and not fired. I wonder if the Saga crew is planning on making it so that your missile hardpoints can take damage and become unusable...

HUD hard point display works exactly as it did in previous Wing Commander games. It is indeed scripted using several code modifications on top of that.

By the way, we have new teaser in the pipeline. Created in just a few hours it shall serve as an apetizer for the final trailer, which will become available shortly before the game hits the net. Turned out pretty good if I may say so myself... Fans of Wing Commander style animations should not be disappointed.

I await it with bated breath. This game was impressive even when it was still the prologue and I couldn't get past that first escort mission because the missile fire ate me alive. As it stands now, I hope once the full release is out there, the prologue gets revamped too.

The game has come so far from what was released in the prologue that the prologue is being enhanced and upgraded (with a pretty significant upgrade in game play and story) and will be released as a separate campaign.

Nice to hear that. Maybe when I get back home from visiting family for Thanksgiving, I'll take another crack at the prologue as it currently stands. If nothing else, I can advance past the escort mission by failing several times in a row.
