Greetings from GTK Itonya

Hello all,

at first sorry for my really bad english - this was the main reason that me stopped many years ago to continue to creating my missions - simply me can't understand comlicate sentences and triggers in the editor FRED - no support in german language. I know what i want but i don't know what i must it do.  :(

me played Freespace since the first day - and i've got so many ideas but - when i saw all your creatings - i must say - respect and well done!
New ships - new weapons - a 19 kilometer long ship?? How you create this big ones....?? And i thought the GTK Itonya is one of the biggest ever constructed (a Colossus class ship - the 3rd one after the GTVA Colossus)...

Now - i will try to continue my things which waiting for it since 6 years but against you creations...its like a Fighter against a Lucifer...and me was the fighter...

Don't give up. Check the how to mod wiki here on hard light. It shows you everything with some very good tutorials.

Also,  what does K stand for in GTK :) ?

I will do it and trying to understand^^

GTK means GalacticTerranKolossus - the newest version of the Colossus class ship with more beam weapons (anti fighter) - more stable FCS (FiringControllingSystem)
this system allowed firing more rapidly. Because the GTK Alecia - the first one of these ship type was destroyed because the FCS overheated and shut down all energy based systems. The Warpengines failed and the Shivan Juggernaut "Execute" destroyed her in a few minutes...
The Alecia, Elocia and Itonya were constructed nearly the same time as the Colossus but these constructions often interrupted because of shivan attacks and supply problems so the GTVA concerted on the Colossus and stopped the ohter ones.
The 5th Version of it is under construction now - named GTK Xeonya - with replicated Shivan Systems - and maybe the newest Shield Technology for huge ships.

Now - when i understand it here - it will open me much more options and possibillities...it would be nice :)
