In case you haven't heard the name, she's the co-designer of King's Quest VI and the designer of the Gabriel Knight series, all of which are on GOG and are considered to be among the best adventure games ever made. KQ6 is of the cheesy but fun damsel-in-distress variety, while the GK games are more of the thriller/horror type, involving the paranormal.
In
a recent interview with Jane on GOG (which includes links on GOG to the games mentioned above), she talked about her new adventure game studio,
Pinkerton Road, supported in part by
a Kickstarter campaign that's doing quite well. I'm still debating whether to go from $16 to $50 to get both games they'll make this year.
So, any other 3rd person adventure game fans out there? Anyone?
