Love the Notus, and I remember the Boreas. The colors were different than what I remembered. Awesome stuff!

Thanks! The Boreas has actually gone through three different meshes. I think it was one of the first models I ever made, and it was pretty messy. I figured while I was changing the geometry I could address the colours so that there's a bit more variation.

Love the photo-like focus in the house one as your eye moves towards the porch, that's really cool to see in this style.  Was that present in a photo you were working from or did you add it in as you painted?

It was added. I figured the front of the house is where the personality is, so I spent a bit more time on it. I increased the contrast on that portion after the fact, as well.

Wow, it's been a while since I added anything to this thread. I've decided to do some painting this summer, so hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have some new, better stuff to show.

I think it's based off a painting of Algonquin provincial park, which I gather is quite a nice area.

I had decided that from here on in I would paint birthday cards for all my friends. I did one and then that was the end of it.

Nice work.

I would recommend watercolors in addition to digital work, as watercolors are much more finicky, but are surprisingly a good learning to for the patient XD.
