Could Not Create Pilot Error - No Disk Space

Hi all,
Just downloaded the Wing Commander Saga demo and I'm getting a "not enough disk space" error when I'm trying to create a pilot.  I don't understand why I'm getting it as I have over 12 gb free on my hard drive at the moment.  System specs as follows.

P4 3 Ghz
2 gb ram
NVidia 7800
Windows XP SP2

Please help!  Thanks in advance!

it is a known problem:

Go to the data folder, create "players" folder, inside it "single" folder. Done! :)
