Re: A celebration of Freespace
Cyrvan animated glows were the most pleasant surprise when I ran nuWoD in the PBR build.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
How can we grab the PBR build ? :)
The code can be found at https://github.com/SamuelCho/Freespace-Open-Swifty/tree/pabst_bleu_ribbon; if you don't want to/aren't capable of compiling it yourself (and don't want the somewhat outdated build ngld linked above), I just compiled a fresh AVX and SSE2 build.

Thank you very much

Re: A celebration of Freespace
The PBR is great, but there's somtehing wrong in Nebula. And some Shockwave aren't render correctly.

The Great War ended 30 years ago.
Our elders tell stories of a glorious civilization; of people with myths of humanity everlasting, who hurled themselves into the void of space with no fear.

I am an old curmudgeon and took some screenshots with 3.7.2 RC5

I blended some an EVE Online skybox with BP's Sol skybox and put it in a mission with tons of asteroids from my other threads

Used the experimental PBR build to get some Ship Lab shots of various glowy bits. The Arcadia gives the impression of flying over a city at night, but in space.
Specular maps were toggled off since the build makes ships ubershiny (Think Lucifer in AoA before the DC).

The first thing I thought of looking at this was they're celebrating Christmas on the station. :)

You cannot; the WoD build also has a few other changes (multilock and an increased MAX_BITMAPS constant are the ones I know about).
