I installed the Infyrno mod and well, heres the order I did things:

1) Installed retail FS2
2) Installed 1.2 Patch
3) Installed Freespace Open Source Code Project Newest Build from Source Code Website, whcih I think is 3.6.5 version
4) Installed Inferno
5) Installed Inferno patch from inferno home page


But freespace open refused to play it correctly...  On the first level, you GTC Carolina is supposed to come in, its a terran cruiser (u probably know what it looks like).  I hit E to target the escort, and theres....  WHAT ELSE IS NEW, (Freespaces phrase is this, "when you dont know what to do, put in a Ulysses").  So it ended up being a Ulysses fighter, instead of a cap ship.....

I had Sol: A History Mod installed, so I took that out, still the same problem, Had the High Res Warp Mod installed, took that out, still had the problem.  Took out ALL REMAINING MODS, and it still didnt work.  Took out FSO, and it finally let me choose the right ship (it wouldnt let me pick the GTVA Space supioriority fighter that comes with Infryno).  My question is:  Is it possible to play Infyrno with Freespace Open Installed?

install inferno to a subdirectory (ex: freespace2\InfernoR1\) and use the mod function in the launcher to select it.  also create a new pilot and use the newest build from the Recent Builds subforum in the SCP forum.

Same thing happened with me. I dont have FSO installed
