If I scale the ship up to the Notus size, the pilots will be about the size of my house. I call that failed :D

You sure the Notus is a bomber? Shouldn't that size be more like "player-controllable, bomb-throwing cruiser?"

The Notus is smaller than the Vindhyachal.

I don't know what to suggest Woo. Perhaps you could have two pilot models side by side, a co-pilot to coordinate the bomber's other systems, or perhaps have lots of equipment in the cockpit for regulating the bomb storage/guidance systems. With ordanance as big as the executionor/armageddon, lord knows you'd need some big gear to handle it.

Yeah, I think a combination of the above would work, three pilots and a huge load of equipment. But notice that none of the FS2 ships had co-pilots except for Ash's ship (which was actually a bomber variant of the Apollo).

The obvious solution (to me anyway) would be to scale the fighter up, but make the cockpit smaller...... but I'm no modeller. Don't know how tough that would be....

That wouldn't really help to make it match the Notus. The Notus is far wider than this ship.

It would be more realistic if the crew isn't put in the same cockpit...a gunner with another cockipit pointing back(like in the B-52).
However this seems like that Ancient bomber,the Satyr.
A new type of bombers is coming trough!
(Why you don't designate them SB?With Inferno we see SuperJuggernauts, Superdestroyers...Supereverything!)

Because we don't classify fighters by their roles such as light fighter or heavy fighter. The Jotun is an Assault Bomber and the Notus is a Super Assault Bomber. GTSAB for the Notus doesn't look right.

Err, if Vasudan and Terran turrets work in the same way (which they probably do), then where would the gunner for the Osiris and Amun's two turrets sit? In the same compartment as the countermeasures?

Oh, and on the subject of ship designations, what is the difference between a dreadnaught(sp?) and a juggernaut?
