FotG does have missions in more open space compared to the area style maps of Squadrons. We do have nebula and asteroid field missions though. FREDers can also take advantage of many different options for nebulas using our upgraded nebulas that we showed off a little while ago, too.  :) https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=97711.0

We are already looking forward to the Spring 2022 update! I have never looked forward to a game so much in my entire life! And seeing the images you share in the forum, my expectation for Fate of The Galaxy is even greater  :jaw: ! Keep up the good work!  :yes:
