Well I just watch this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfNm9WP_vTA) of Diaspora Team about SELF SHODOWING (Freespace 2's Battle Star Galactica Mod) and I'm like this :shaking:
Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E3a_RL2XkE&feature=related) and here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0F6ZBTDcKYs&feature=relatedself) are some others videos about self shodowing that I found.
Also there is a new Cloak (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l3i4CTzplM&feature=related), and Flares FX (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oADXodHXS0w&feature=related).
The obvious question: Wil TBP support this features?

They aren't Diaspora specific effects - they were made by SCP Coder Valathil for the FSOpen engine. So, once it's optimized and committed to the main builds, any game or mod based on FSO (TBP included) will have shadowing functionality.

As for the other stuff like cloaking that will not be in the next version of Zathras but may appear in future versions.

I'd like to suggest to include it in the FS2_Open Engine so all mods can benefit from this?. I only read the first post when I posted this, the second one answered my question, don't mind this one.

SO this is gonna be in the 3.6.14 build?
