Hi all,

My first post here. I loved the Diaspora campaign (and the game in general) but just couldn't deal with waiting for the next release, so I'm trying my hand at FREDing.

Whilst it's all going pretty well so far, one thing that's just killing me is my complete inability to figure out how to rotate the view in FRED. Not the ships, like, but the "camera" position. Without this - it's really hard to line up fighters for tube launches.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible, and if so how?

Wrong. Laptops (which are the only things where this applies) usually have some of their normal keyboard keys overloaded to provide numpad functionality. Also, USB keyboards are rather cheap.

Aaaand USB numpads are fun too. I bought one to FRED BP Multi missions on my crapbook when I went to study in UK.

Luckily, my laptop actually has a numpad anyway - couldn't stand losing those keys when gaming!
