No briefing/techroom animations [Solved]
I am running FSO 3.6.10 OpenGL mode and get no animations during briefings and when viewing weapons in the tech room.

The cutscenes work (intro etc.) after moving FS2OGGcutscenepack.vp to freespace 2/data/movies rather than /freespace 2.

I have the tango#_fs2 vps (placed in /freespace 2), but nothing shows up. Placing the tango#_fs2 vps in data/movies does not help. Any advise?

can you give a screen shot of your fs folder and try running a debg build and post them both here

Run a 3.6.10 debug and post your fs2_open.log here. You might have corrupt files.

Run a 3.6.10 debug and post your fs2_open.log here. You might have corrupt files.

The game crashed after it finished loading the command briefing. I have attached the log.

Hmm. Drawing a blank here. The only thing that catches my eye is that the game engine finds and reads a couple of .vp's in drive H:\.

Found root pack 'h:\warble_fs2.vp' with a checksum of 0xd85c305d

This is rather weird, since the game engine should read the cutscene .vp like any other .vp and it should work in \freespace2\.

Moving the vp's to \data\cbanims worked for whatever reason. The reason the game found vps in H:\ was that I had one of the retail CDs in the drive. Thanks for the help.
