So I was able to get almost everything in the installer to work, but the radar icons didn't download. I finally got fed up with the little useless dots, and tried to download the icons manually from the MVPs 2014 release thread, and extracted them into the MediaVPs_2014 folder, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Advice?

Also, do the special icons work with the 3d radar? It sounds like they don't, but I'm still curious.

Yes, icons work with 3D radar.

A log would help. Also what mods are you running? If only running MediaVPs_2014 and have the radar icons .vp in that folder they should work just fine.
