This was a pet project I started quite some time ago, my favourite ST ship besides the USS Dauntless (I know, I know, it's not starfleet (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) ). Anyway, it sholud be low poly enough to create a pof from. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

How many polys int he enterprise?

The CPP Potkustart! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
-
The flying frying pan srikes again
-
ohhhhhh - that looks like it will end up a very detailed model- mines just a quicky - anyway nice job - and the enterprise is 752 poly cant remember how many verts
-
Thanks.
Best guess it should come in under 2000 polys (I hope). Whatever way the lighting is on the render it makes the curves out to be a lot smoother than they actually are.
-
~2000 polys? How big is that thing?
-
500-600 meters long? I know the original Enterprise is 289 meters.
-
the enterprise d is about 800 or so meters - e is slightly longer but smaller ship overall
