Can you do a new replacement shockwave effect. Preferably a nice colourful one. The standard shockwave effect sucks lemons.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.

The whole idea behind the shockwave, though, is that it isn't the explosion. Two explosions, especially when neither of them are transparent, would look funny, especially seeing as they are sprites. What could be cool would be a lens effect which distorted everything behind it. If you must know, though, I am considering on doing a new shockwave effect.

I like the blue.  Perhaps not so goofy looking, but a nasty blue shockwave 'o death.

white->blue shimmery.
Or a nice white->yellow->orange->red affair.

I've seen both in sci-fi flicks and they look pretty neat. For some reason I don't give a hoot about realism today so looking neat is all I'm interested in  .
