[Admiral LSD]

OK, please don't flame me for asking such a dumb question but will someone care to explain the format of the music.tbl for me? I want to implement a custom soundtrack in a nano-mod (no custom ships, and only one 'test' mission) I'm working on but initally gave up since I couldn't understand the table format. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I haven't taken a look at the music table for a long time, but I know Silent Warrior made the Funeral Music Mod, which is available on our mod database. Contact him.

Anyway...editing the music.tbl is trial and error...

I suggest you copy the entries of a standard FS2 song and put your waves in. Then try how it works....if you need help contact me via ICQ: 102573073

I tried that but i couldn't get the music i wanted 2 work, i was trying to get the music from Starlancer in but couldn't.

This is how most modding starts - tinkering around, seeing what works and what doesn't.

Music.tbl is still a mystery to me.  The numbers after the song must specify the lenght, but it seems arbitrary almost.

  Well, now mind you   this could be an obsolete format, but this page describes the FS1 format, and whut the numbers mean and such...it may be usefull in decyphering the fs2 version...?
