Hey all, I got a problem I think that relates to the mediavps, 3.6.10.

What happens is, when i select the fs2_open_3_6_10.exe in the launcher, along with the Freespace II - 3.6.10 MediaVPs MOD, I get an error when i try to do the main FS2 campaign.

The error says something like "FreeSpace was unable to find 12 ship classes while loading this mission. This can happen if you try to play something that is imcompatible with the current mod.

(The current campaign is Freespace 2 and the current Mod is mediavps)

Then the rest of the error saying that if I continue to load the mission, I will likely get a mysterious number of errors, that I should change my mod (Which I don't wanna do because I like the mediavps graphics), blah blah blah.

Can anyone help me out?

Try running the debug executable, and post your log.

So I select the 3.6.10 debug and run the game, where do i get the log from?

\freespace2\data\ . The file in question is called fs2_open.log.

If you downloaded the MediaVPs with Turey's FSO Installer, they're most likely corrupt. Redownloading the MediaVPs manually from the release thread should solve the problem.

Incidentally, this could be at the FSU board.
