To be frank, I've been thinking about recommending Metro 2033 (or rather, Redux) for when you finish Amnesia. It technically isn't a horror game per se, but it definitely has powerful atmosphere and a considerable amount of scary sections.

I think I've settled on It Steals, LIDAR.EXE, and 0_abyssalSomewhere for next week's stream. Cry of Fear sort of violated my preference for "no guns" since even in a freaky setting, having a firearm somewhat takes the sense of terror out of me. P.S.:  On Youtube, I found someone has posted a partial of the first Act (and part of Act 2) of TBG.  Joe and/or Herkie, would you like me to post the link to that?  I don't know who this person was and I'm not trying to plug their channel over Joe's work here...I just thought Joe might like to watch it to have some idea of what to expect.  On the other hand Joe, if you want to go in more blind to experience TBG, that's cool too...though I'll still try to send some non-spoilerish (well, I'll try to minimize the spoilers at least) advice when TBG gets closer.

Youtube made some changes RMJ and it looks like it has an affect on the way videos are displayed.

For instance, I went to IllFatedGaming/videos and all of your Freespace videos weren't there anymore for some reason.  To see them (at least on the computer I used), one has to go to the channel homepage and scroll down to the playlist section to find the FSO list.

RMJ, Herkie is planning a huge update for AFR and TBG due to be released by the end of 2023 (he will start work in early mid-2023)...he says it will be on the level of going from the original The Aftermath to AFR.  Don't worry about your playthrough of TBG as the version of TBG currently available is fine for this (as a matter of fact a small update for AFR and TBG has just been released to fix some small grammar and balance issues.)


Anyways, Herkie is considering doing voice acting for this major overhaul next year.  Would you be interested in doing Richter and/or Snipes?

In this case, it will only the two of us... he he he. I'll do the others. I can edit the sound clips to make it sound like different people. I can do several accents like British... but not really accurate. Who knows? Maybe that's how people speak in the 23rd century. 😁
