Hurry up!

Hey, beta testing is a time consuming process.  I'm sure the last thing any of use want is a botched job.

We're over halfway done with episode 2.

After we're done testing the missions we'll want to start on the VO work, and tweak the mods. (making sure that the models, textures are on par with the newer things, etc.)

Honestly I'm confident that BWO is getting worked on; it's just that beta testing is a quiet time since there's hardly anything to show off, and plus, BWO never did show off much in the first place.
Long time ago, you see, there was this thing called the VBB and... oh, nevermind.

And there are different ways of communication amongst the team members, such as ICQ or email

Voices are overrated, except for the ones in your head.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

I can live without it. If I had a choice between waiting 3 more years for the voice acting to be done, or releasing the campaign now I would choose the campaign.

I could wait about four to five months for voice acting tops, if it takes any longer I agree with kosh's stance.

But would people replay the campaign they had already completed just to see how the campaign works with voices?

Voice Acting
Pros:
- Easier to understand messages
- Gets characters voices as weight behind them

Cons:
- Massive file size
- Large amount of work required to setup
- Requires many volunteer voice actors

With the amount of dialogue we have...it'd be 100s of MB.

The current plan is once beta testing is finished to begin voiceover work and enhancing the mods.

The campaign would then be released when this is finished, and a non-VO version would be available.

Good. Not all of us have broadband.

I was already thinking that BWO could be HTL-fied by the time VO and beta testing are done. ;)
