I've made some pretty significnt changes to the wiki, reorganizing the main page, and replacing a lot of the bunches of links with neater portals. A few points of clarification though:

 - It's massively WIP. Not everything is yet portaled, but almost all the links from the old mainpage are available within two clicks. A lot of neatening up still needs to be done.

 - The SCP as a featured article is only temporary. I chose it because it had an easily accessible picture I could use - it'll be replaced when I find a better article.

 - At the moment, featured articles are entirely alterable by the general populace (unlike wikipedia feature articles). Until or unless this is changed by the wiki admin (whoever that is) please remember some simple guidelines for feature articles.
[*]Make sure they're good, obviously.
[*] Make sure they have a picture, wherever possible, to keep the mainpage interesting. Also, try to keep it reasonably small (the width of the current one is about as wide as it should get) so as not to mess up the formatting on low res.
[*]Please, don't edit the mainpage specifically. Edit the Template page for the {{Featured_Article}} tag.

Otherwise, just do what you normally do with a wiki. Try to keep the portals neat (the formatting is pretty obvious), and keep filling it up with info :)[/bw]

The one thing that could probably be a bit better is the 'General' or 'Specific' stuff under Freespace Universe. Everything under both of them is fairly specific, the 'Specific' stuff is just moreso specific. ;)

Also, quick question:
Is there any way to access the old wiki to grab data off for the new one? I'd written some fairly long guides on Modview and PCS, but they both seem to be missing from the new one. The modview one was kinda important, since it had the instructions and links to the high limits version that can show HTL ships. :\

I'm going to be replacing the Max converter FAQ page with a proper walkthrough in the near future, so no one go mucking around with that one.  What's there is a start, but it's basically a summary of the readme and actually making that thing work right requires a lot more info.  The main page looks good, by the way.

I just grabbed all the links straight off the old mainpage - that stuff is yet to be protaled, and will be neatened up when I do all that.
