mv_exp-str.tbm Error
Hey,

I'm trying to Get blueplanet to load up, but every time i try and start it a message apperes telling me there is an error.

This is what i get.

Error: mv_exp-sct.tbm(line 971:
Error: Missing required token: [#End]. Found [$On Weapon Delete:]  instead.

i am now :) I ran run war in heaven but AOA won't load. just comes up with the message i posted about. Another thing, when i load war in heaven it states that 37 files are missing but it will let me play the game. There have been a few missions when my hud has cpmletely dissapered after a cut scene.

I believe I'm getting the same error message.  I also think I may have narrowed the problem down to the 3.6.12 media VP's, but I can't be sure.  I'm using the 3.6.12 final inferno build, both regular and debug.

I'm running this on:
an Athlon XP 2100+ (bite me)
I think 2GB RAM (PC2700)
GeForce 6600 AGP 8X w/ 256 MB
Windows 2000

This is an older system, obviously, but it's never given me any problems with FSO until now as long as I tone down some of the graphics options.  Log attached.

I was not able to get the problem to reproduce when I used the 3.6.10 mediaVP's as the mod.  Just the 3.6.12's and anything that refers back to them.  I have not done an exhaustive search yet, but hopefully you'll see something obvious that I can't.

I'm already using The inferno build. How do i create a fs2_open.log? Sorry but i've not used this game or mod launcher in a very long time.

Awesome, you're a hero. Now, could you do me a favor? Go to the Age of Aquarius release topic, download Core, Visual1 and Visual2, and extract them into your blueplanet folder (not blueplanet2), overwriting whatever's already there.

Done, still getting the same error message at the beginning of starting War in heaven and AoA (AoA has 38 warrings, WIH has 37).

Done, still getting the same error message at the beginning of starting War in heaven and AoA (AoA has 38 warrings, WIH has 37).

Something else is wrong with your installation then. Let me go back through your log.

EDIT: Are you running with the disk in the drive? You don't need to. Removing it probably won't help, but try it anyway.

Delete this file.

Also, check if you have the latest BP:AoA files.

Cheers mate. I first thought it might have been the mediavps_3612 files, but i can use them on the standard game without any errors. I've also reonstalled both blue planet mods each in there own folders (blueplanet and blueplanet2). I can play WIH but there are things missing. Mission details are not in the game, it will tell me a weapon 1 class is missing and i'm currently on a mission when you encounter the new race (two fighters) but once i approch them i get the whole chat about what they are and my jump drice recharges but after that, nothing. no details telling me what to do next, no objectives. So confusing. nd i was properly getting into this game :)

Nice one! It sems to be working now. No error messages at all. I did have the disk in. That not in the drive anymore. Thanks for all your help! I'll post back if there are any other problems.
