does anyone know how to stop the graphical corruption with red faction and a gf 8800

lets just say it hates dx9 and up. nothing short of an os downgrade will fix it. unless of course you know how to uninstall directx. why

didnt use open gl is far beyond me.

Not many developers seem to like using OpenGL for some reason.

It's a known driver bug. I have heard about it before, but I doubt it will ever be fixed.

it worked fine in xp with a 7600gt so its not a dx or os bug

It's a bug with the 8800 drivers specifically.

theres a -voodoo command line but im sure that it just sets the games to run on a voodoo2 in d3d because my glide wrapper didnt kick in
