I am new, so hello everyone. I have limited knowledge about this SCP. I have a link that says V. released it already. I don’t know if you people tried to find it, and didn’t know they released it or not, so please don’t be mad.

Volition released the source code to the FS2 fan community back in... summer of '02, I believe?  The SCP has been using that code as a foundation for the improvements we have today--they didn't rebuild the whole thing from scratch.

Follow the link WMCoolmon gave you and try out FS2 Open. If you have any problems post them up here and I'll try to answer them/improve the docs to answer them.

...and Quake?!? ...well IIRC they did both quite a while ago...
...I don't know what's with Quake2/Half-Life though.

Tin-Can would be more than interested in that - though he already (in theory) mods for HL2 in his FS-FPS.

The whole quake series source code is available at idsoftware.com.
HL2 Source code was leaked out of Valve.
I don't really think that HL1 was ever released.
