An idea could one of those kara vp files be the cause

Make sure you are using the -jpgtga cmdline option.

If you are using the 367 media vps why do you have the old workaround vps installed? Isn't it a general rule to remove old media vps before installing a new batch...

your right i removed the kara vps and it working fine now...

Yeah those VP files were only meant to correct problems in 3.6.5. You shouldn't need them any more
