Tbl particles bugs

Could someone fix the bugs 2 and 3 at least? The first is subjective, comparison was made based on how I remember the early test builds being. I have no proof one way or another whether that is indeed the case and current tbl flags are incompatible with these early test builds. I'd still appreciate if the two others would get taken care of.
