Title: Just installed fs2, few questions

Hello ! So i just boght fs2 from gog, and i found this site few hours after playing. i searched around this site and saw different nightbuilds, fs2 launcher, fs2 open online installer and stuff so i got 2 questions, where do i start lol.. shall i download the installer and let it download, or install mediavps manually, or nightlybuilds ???? im a bit confused.. Also, what do i need to do to play online? are people playing this online at this very moment anyway? and lastly, will the awesome graphics from mediavps work online??? im sorry for so much bs lol, but im truly confused.. first time here uknow. and ye dat was more than 2 questions, sad....

Yes, the installer (http://www.fsoinstaller.com/) is the recommended way to do things.

Trying to install things manually is not recommended.

If I may, I'll first answer your second question and say "no". The answers to the other questions aren't as important as the fact that you're going to have trouble finding anyone to play with (but just for completeness sake, you need to forward some ports (http://hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Multiplayer_Getting_Started_Guide#Firewall.2FRouter_Setup), and yes, the MediaVPs can be used online, but you may need this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=87786.msg1776673#msg1776673) if you want FS2NetD to validate them properly).

Don't worry about the nightly builds unless you are playing a mod that explicitly calls for a nightly because of advanced or experimental features.  Just let the installer do its thing.  :)

Alriiiiight, i got all the info i coulda needef ! thx !!!! good to see that this gold old game still is supported  :D
