I finally got around to trying out the tactical demo; and it crashes on start, just after displaying the "Made in Unity" screen

Assigning joystick 1
I'm running Linux Mint 17 (basically Ubuntu 14.04), 64bit (so using LoR.x86). I don't *have* two screens so I don't know what's up with that. I disconnected my joystick, but that didn't change anything. I can't find any logs or similar.
Is there anything I can do to assist track down the cause of this crash?
