I can definitely see a influence from Tachyon in the base designs, and around the middle of the vid he blows a hole in
a structure and the inside is interesting....   but otherwise I'm still no where near impressed. The combat style seems like
a freelancer / fso hybrid maybe.

I really hope they're going to do a lot more work on this, some nice pp effects but nothing really exiting in the graphics department - they are an indy outfit though. Plus I is well miffed not to see a cockpit, someone needs to do one where an arm pops out and twists dials and presses buttons - and periodically has a sneaky nad-scratch. I bet it gets pretty swampy down there after hours in a cockpit.

I do, however, quite like the lift from the new BSG of the machine guns over pew-pew cannons - it fits nicely with the solar setting, a little bit more mundane and familiar.
