Okee... so a while back I released an HD Sathanas. I really like the diffuse map, and the glows were okay, but not very scary. They covered up the diffuse, as many people mentioned at the time. I've gained some experience since then, re-UV'ed and added to the diffuse map. I re-UV'ed in a way that would allow me to use baked glows. Here is the result:

Please note that this is a side project, and a low priority on my list. I'm mostly finishing up the Arcadia with Mjn.Mixael, and then I'll be taking on some other Shivan assets as well. Feel free to give your feedback. No major changes will be done, as that's not my goal. I just wanted to improve on what's there so ya'll can have something to see when the MVP's are released.

EDIT: Kesha wakes up in the morning feeling like the Sathanas.
I think I'll call REAL Mahjong 'Chinese Dominoes', just to make people think I'm an ignorant asshat.

The way the baked glows play off the cracks in the plating looks amazing.

(but the baked glows on the bottom of the body are a bit washed around and harder to figure out. Is it coming from the underside of the carapace?)

Woaha dude! That looks amazing! I can't believe how detailed the mesh and the textures are. I'm so all over the next mvps when everything of this neat holy****stuff is included!

It looks great!

The 'polka-dot' aesthetic distracts from the modeled shape, particularly on the arms. I've always thought that RGA's Sathanas would benefit from subtler glows (like the ones in the dorsal 'trenches') rather than what (at a distance) appear like discrete pinpoints.

I look forward to the release!

I did not know this was the sath used in mv_advanced.  Thanks for answering both though and I certainly appreciate the work you all have done over the years  :)
