Fade from black. We open to see a dead enemy soldier, lying on the ground. A foot comes down from off-screen and steps on his head. We pan up the
lag, and see Maeglamor, surveying the carnage. In the distance, darkage is polishing his sword. He looks up and walks over to Maeg.darkage: Hey Maeglamor, whazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maeglamor: (Turns head to face him) You've got problems, you know that?
darkage: (Grins) Yep. So, when's Shrike gonna tell us that we can move out?
Maeglamor: Pretty soon. He says that we're just waiting for Corhellion and his crew to get the wep systems up in this section,--
We start to fade to:INT. Forum Weapon Control room. Day.
Maeg: (From previous scene)---but it's taking awhile.
The room comes into full clarity now. We see Corhellion still monitoring the situation through the vid screens. kajorama is off fixing something
in a corner. an0n is on a chair, furiously typing on a keyboard. Suddenly, he lets out a trememndous shout.an0n: THIS IS THE ****ING LAST STRAW!!!! DAMNIT!
Corhellion: (Turns to face him) What's wrong?
an0n: I tried to install some new gunnery software, but it gave me a ****ing blue screen of death!
He then leaps upon the desk and picks up the chair, and starts hammering at it.Corhellion: an0n, wait, stop!
In between smashes, an0n lets loose some choice words.an0n: Take---this---you---****ing---piece---of---****!---When---I---get---through---with---you...
Suddenly, the console hums to life, the blue screen disappears, and a little badly-animated dog appears on the screen. A speech bubble appears over his
head.Bubble: Installation Complete.
an0n hops back down from the desk and wipes his brow. He turns to face his companions, now staring, wide-eyed, at him.an0n: (Grins) See, I told you I would get it.
The other two roll their eyes and let out some long-winded groans, and get back to work. We cut to:INT. Forward entrance to Tech Sup. Day.
We come back just in time to hear the room's weapon systems warming up. Numerous turreted guns start to pop out of the cieling. We cut to a floor view,
and see Shrike, standing among his counsels, look up and smile. He looks behind him at his troops, assembled and ready for battle. He truns forward
again, and waves his arm forward.Shrike: Move out!
As a triumphent cry goes out among the rallied troops, we fade to:INT. Back Entrance to Tech Sup. Day.
Fade from the previous scene. We open up to see the troops assembaling for their own march. Thorn is at the head of the pack, shouting out orders.
Thorn: C'mon, let's move it, people! Let's go, let's go, no stragglers here. Hey! Stay in a line!
Suddenly, a battered and worn soldier runs up from behind the crowd, out of a side door, behind the procession. Panting, he stumbles up to Thorn's feet.
Thorn looks down, startled. The group behind them stops.Thorn: Su-tehp! I thought you were with Alpha group.
Su: (Panting) I..I was. Shrike...sent me...to...tell you. We...won. Are...advancing...now.
Thorn: Ok, so that means we'll have to watch our fire more carefully. Go and join our ranks for now, till we get there.
Su: Yes, sir!
Su-tehp stands up again. And Thorn is about to turn around, but, suddenly, it seems as if he just remembered something. He turns to face
Su-tehp again.Thorn: Su?
Su: Sir?
Thorn: Why are you out of breath?
Su: Uhhhh....erm. I ran all the way down here, you know, around the forum, etc?
Thorn: Why didn't you use the areo-lift?
Su-tehp looks back over his sholder, and leans his body over backwards, so he can see the door he just came from. He then looks at an elavator-like
door right next to it.Su: Uhh...I dunno. I thought, you know, it would be cooler if I was painting, and my clothes were torn. Like Braveheart!
Thorn rolls his eyes and turns his attention back to the route ahead.Thorn: Let's go!
We fade to black, as the soldiers start to move out.INT. Tech Sup Control Room. Day.
Fade from black. The scene here is one of surprising calmness. wEvil is standing in front of a row of consoles, daveb at his side. On the
videoscreen to their left, we can see that they are looking at Alpha team's advance, and on their right, Beta's advance. wEvil turns to daveb.E: Well, it looks as if this is the end. Muster all of the Interplay ships around the HLP station, and begin firing sequence.
daveb nods.E: Very well. Hemroid!
HFB: Ys, sre?
E: Prep Project Tango. I will be there shortly.
HFB: As you wish.
As he is turning to go, wEvil looks back over his sholder at Hemroid Frog Butt. We cut to a close-up of his eyes. They are in a viscious glare.E: Oh, and Hemroid.
HFB: Ys?
E: I want you to be in the final defense of this sector. You already had your chance at immortality.
He walks away laughing madly, and we fade to black.
