Time Commanders and it was very good. Eddie Mair was a sarcastic sod. "All your men are dying. Is that part of your plan?"

ROFL, Westwood or another RTS maker needs to take a leaf out of his book, imagine EVA saying something like "come on mate pull your finger out; we'll be here all day before you kill that harvester *YAaaaawnnn*

Re: Medieval II: Total War Video
I've heard some ugly rumours about them ruining the game. Like there are no years anymore, just turns. And there are other ugly historical inaccuarcies thet I have forced myself to forget. :(

Hopefully the game will be modable enought for the Total Realsim team to fix it. They did great work with Rome Total Realisim.

The game spans from 1087 to 1530, same as M:TW I, after adding 77 years to the end date. They're gonn have to tell you when you're nearing the end date, after which your game ends. Thus, there shall be years.
Words ought to be a little wild, for they are the assaults of thoughts on the unthinking.

Turns could of course equate to seasons, whereby the season you attack (etc) in has a military, logistical, etc effect.  For example.

Right, what ever. We'll just have to see how historically inaccurate it will be. I'm still seeing nightmares about flaming pigs and head hurling barbarians. :doubt:

Anyone ever done the 1xspartans vs entire army of peasants? God that's hilarious.

Or the army of flaming pigs vs elephants? :p

Of course.

To be fair, they were supported by a battalion of flaming pigs.

(wish I still had the screenshot of that)

Re: Medieval II: Total War Video
I once made a custom battle between 20 units of elephants and 20 units of pigs. Only problems was as soon as I lit up the pigs my FPS went right into the toilet.

What I did see was funny as hell though :)
