Support ships are smarter then the Colossus...
I just noticed that if a support ship dosn't have any rearm orders and it has critical hull integrity, it will actually warp out. So if the support ship pilot was actually at the Helm of the Colossus... do you think the GTVA would still have a Juggernaut?

The Colossus was disabled in that mission, so it couldn't have jumped out anyway. So nope.

Thats because supportship pilots actually have to go through flight school, officers go through naval courses on traditions and honor.

Not the Colossus. Put it in Fred sometime and look at the "Player Orders." Nothing.

I think he means depart orders in FRED.. and things can jump out if they are disabled, it just looks stupid. A subspace node opens in front of the ship.... waits... waits... then closes... then the ship disapeers all of a sudden

Try this:
Make a mission with an Argo docked to the Colossus. (Make sure both ships' arrival cues are true.) Give the Argo the order to warp out.

This calls for the :wtf: smiley.

Example: in FS1 the second mission where you destroy the freighters, you can disable the freighters but they still jump out after a while.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Why would you want the Colossus to survive in the first place? That thing is a piece of ****

There are no freighters in the second FS1 mission. Either you mean the third FS1 mission or the second FS2 mission.

Talking about support ships, in the game do they have a limited capacity of secondary weapons or does it carry infinate. One of the training mission seems to indicate that they do have a limited capacity, but I've never noticed if they do or not. Has anyone?

If the Big C does warp out, doesn't the warp hole appear in the front 'neck' piece?

1) They have unlimited capacity to the extent of they will only give you as many warheads as your allowed, so if the mission restricted you to 10 harpoons and your ship can take 24, the SS will give you only 10 because it is "low on supplies"

2) Yes, and it looks really stupid. When the node opens, the front half of the ship disapeers instantly, then the rest travels through, then the node stays open for a while longer. The mission thinks that by halfway through the jump the ships should be at its half point, so it divides the ships legnth into two, and opens the node at that distance from the center of the ship. Why they did this? i dont know, but at least it warps in right

I agree. There's not to worry about the colossus. I'm worried about the poor crew aboard it. :(

That explanes why i keep making missions where C is destroyed. When i discovered TerSlash for fighter i put in test mission 4 C 2 S and 1 demon and i finished it without a scratch :D

that was funny as hell. a medium sized warp hole appears above the C and the argo pushes it in at 93 meters a sec. only the mid sectin fits in the hole but it disapears top going down

:wtf:
