I just hope that Sunrise won't f*** it up. It's been a while since the last time I watched a truly fun Gundam series.

Mech Fighting 101: When facing down multiple stealth bastards, grow some facial hair, wield a giant sword, roar a lot and the Rule of Cool shall guide your hand to save the protagonists.

It does help if you happen to be 7 foot tall, muscled and the greatest swordsman on the planet.

Log Horizon is still pretty good. One of the very few anime I can be bothered to follow in very long time.

The downside is that I feel like I am watching a snail cross a road. It's exciting to see how the snail is doing with all the cars and whatnot. But it's still crossing the road so sloooowly.

Yea the pacing in LH might be a tad slow but it is quite faithful to the novels (apart from some things that the animation studio has decided to leave out, either because there was not enough time or it would have been inappropriate to show at that time of the day), so it's a good thing.

I will admit the epidoes between the satsuki/ryuko fight and the end of the naturals election arch felt like filler. but the show has  been on a progressive climb of awesome for the last few episodes and a lot of stuff I felt was poorly done early on was given conext such that in retrospect it all fit together well.
if you dont want to invest much in it I'd say try watching from the later half of episode 11 that's when the shows actual plot starts.

Yeah the show is amazing, and despite some old cliches here and there and some filler episodes it's been undoubtedly the best out there this season regarding anime stuff.
The only other thing that is worth mentioning is Noragami, which is not good, just mere adequate.

Blumenkranz is possibly the best most fitting bad guy theme I've ever heard, it's cold and oppressive and disconnected from empathy and just a perfect fit for Ragyo. too bad I cannot seem to find the original OST version of the song anywhere online ATM. I can and have just listened to it over and over again all day.

Oh yeah, that theme is just perfect for her.

And anime mother of the year?  Try century.  I saw someone doing a compare-and-contrast of her with Gendo Ikari, and after a few points it lapsed into "OKAY THIS IS NO CONTEST RAGYO MUST DIE."
