How to change the mod that FRED uses?
Normally I would just select the mod in FS2 Open Launcher 5.5g, however as of installing FRED 3.8.0, this no longer works. FRED is stuck loading the same mod. Did something change?

You absolutely must use wxLauncher with 3.8. As of FSO 3.8, the 5.5g Launcher is no longer supported.

Re: How to change the mod that FRED uses?
AFAIK you have to start FSO once with the desired mod, to change it for FRED2 aswell. It should be enough to run it and to kill the process right away... so you do not have to go in-game.

Or you simply start FRED2 with the desired mod command line.

Is one of my releases broken or not working? Please send a PM here, on Discord at @novachen or on Twitter @NovachenFS2, a public tweet or write a reply in my own release threads here on HLP, because these are the only threads i am still participating in.
