Im using http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=78710.0 as my guide to installing FSO.
I have GOG's version.
I moved the .mve files from data2 and data3 to data/movies/.

It says to delete the data2 and data3 afterwords, and I have several .VP files in each of those 2 folders. Do I still delete?

The other files in those two folders are unnecessary and can even cause problems.

I noticed the emphasis. I just wanted to double check that those VP files get the axe. Don't hurt to be sure.

Sorry, all I meant by [emphasis added] was that the bolding didn't appear in the original text, meaning that it was a modified quote and not an exact one. That said, the bold should probably be added to the original, so I'll do that.

And indeed it doesn't hurt to be sure, since restoring the files would be a pain.
