I looked at one of the old Inferno tech documents and it said there was something called an "Armageddon bomb" and said it was the most powerful GTVA bomb in existence basically. Is that weapon going to be in the new Inferno?
-
No it's not. It was originally for the Notus which was also removed.
-
Can you post its stats? :nervous:
-
The Armageddon has a velocity of 40, a fire wait of 30, a mass of -650000, deals 56000 damage, has a minimum lock time of 10 seconds, and has a lifetime of 60 seconds.
The Armageddon also does more damage than the BFBlue, with the BFBlue only managing 48400 damage.
-
Wow, that's more DPS that the BFRed!
Now I know why people say INFR1 had overpowered weapons.
-
IIRC, it was described as a mini-black hole.
-
A God freakin nuke!
-
IIRC, it was described as a mini-black hole.
Well that explains the negative mass.
-
My physics bleeds~
-
Well that explains the negative mass.
It didn't actually work as indended though.
Doesn't matter now anyway since the bomb was removed a few years ago.
-

It was intended as an anti-juggernaut weapon, after all.
-
With the negative mass, does the Armageddon cause small enough warships to fly into your face if you fire it at them at point-blank range?

omg!!!!!
-
I don't think black holes have negative mass.
-
i naively assume anti-matter does.
-
It doesn't. Negative mass is a purely hypothetical thing.

Yeah but mass in FS table files determine the kinetic force of weapons. It would seem logical that giving a weapon a negative mass would make it pull targets in, though apparently it didn't work as intended.
EDIT: Oh and
omg!!!!!
un unnnn unnnnnn!!!

Will the GTVA's 2nd most powerful bomb (Executioner) be in the new Inferno?
-
Yes, but it's the most powerful Terran bomb now. The EA and Vasudans have unique equivalents of this level of bomb.
-
IIRC the most powerful EA bomb was called Hellstorm, has the Vasudan equivalent name been revealed yet?
-
So long as I can hunt sand-breathing fish-wuvvers. I want all ze bombs.

But we need the Vasudans to help defeat the EA/Shivans in Inferno and to defeat the UEF in BP.
-
Negative, Vasudan. Your posturing insults us both. :P

Gold!

The most powerful EA bomb is the Hellfire-X
The Vasudans most powerful is the Djinn
